Happy National Day in English Journal,国庆节的英语日记简单5句

admin 日记 4

October 1st is the National Day of our country, and it always brings a sense of pride and joy to everyone. This year, I decided to write down my thoughts and experiences in English to share my feelings with the world. Let me take you through my journey of celebrating National Day with an English diary.

Morning: Celebrating the Opening Ceremony

At 8:00 AM, I woke up excitedly and started my day with a simple breakfast of toast and juice. My family and I gathered in the living room to watch the opening ceremony of the National Day. The traditional Chinese flags waved in the wind, and the golden-colored龙舟(龙舟) on the river seemed to welcome everyone. I remember the host said something like, "This is a day to remember our history and look forward to the future." I agreed with him because I felt so proud to be a Chinese citizen.

As the ceremony began, I noticed that many people in the audience were wearing traditional Chinese clothes. Some carried small flags with the words "Happy National Day" written on them. I thought, "Why don't more people join in?" Maybe it's because they didn't know how to say it in English. I decided to practice my English and told my family about the significance of the flags. They were surprised but happy to hear that I could understand and share their feelings.

After the ceremony, we had a family photo taken in the garden. I stood in front of the camera, holding a small flag, and said, "This is my contribution to National Day." My parents smiled and clapped, and I felt so happy to be part of this special day.

Afternoon: Exploring the City

In the afternoon, my family and I went to the city center to explore the beautiful streets. We stopped by a bakery and bought some mooncakes(月饼)to celebrate the festival. I tried my first mooncake for the first time and thought, "How do I say 'mooncake' in English? Is it 'yue cao'?" I asked my mother, and she said, "Yes, it's pronounced 'yoo-kao'." I was so happy to learn a new word.

As we walked through the streets, I noticed many people wearing traditional clothes and holding flags. Some were selling lanterns(灯笼)and others were giving out candies. I thought, "Why don't more people join in?" Maybe it's because they didn't know how to say it in English. I decided to practice my English and told my family about the festival. They were happy to hear that I could understand and share their feelings.

We also visited a park where people were having picnics. I sat on a bench with my family and thought, "How do I say 'picnic' in English? Is it 'pe-kin'?" I asked my father, and he said, "Yes, it's pronounced 'pi-kin'." I was so happy to learn another new word.

Evening: Writing in English

In the evening, I decided to write a short diary in English to share my thoughts. I opened my laptop and started typing. I wrote about the opening ceremony, the streets, and the park. I used some new words I learned today, like "mooncake" and "pe-kin." I also wrote about how proud I felt to be a Chinese citizen and how happy I was to be part of this special day.

As I typed, I realized how much I had learned today. I had to think about how to say things in English, and it was a bit challenging at first. But I enjoyed it because it made me feel connected to the world. I also realized how important it is to practice English every day, even for a few minutes.

Before I went to bed, I sent a message to my friends saying, "I had a great time celebrating National Day with my family. I learned a lot about how to say things in English. I hope we can learn more together!" They replied, "That's great news! Let's practice more!" I felt so happy to make new friends and learn from them.

Reflection

Reflecting on this day, I realized that National Day is not just about celebrating our country, but also about connecting with the world. I had the opportunity to learn new words and phrases, and I felt proud to be part of something so special. I also realized how important it is to practice English every day, even for just a few minutes.

As I lay in bed, I thought about the future. I want to continue learning English and using it to express myself and share my feelings with the world. I also want to be part of more special days like this one. I feel so lucky to have such a wonderful country and such kind people.

This is my English diary for National Day. I hope you enjoyed reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it. Let me know what you think!
