I hesitated, then said, "Five yuan." She placed the money on my hand, and I felt my heart beating faster. This was my first time handling transactions independently, and I was afraid I would make a mistake, say the wrong price, or lose the money.
As the afternoon sun grew warmer, the books on the shelf swayed slightly, their pages turning pages under the light. I realized that these books, once held in my hands, now needed to be given to others who could appreciate them. They carried the wisdom of authors, waiting to be discovered and explored.

I spent the rest of the afternoon helping other students find books they liked. I noticed that some of the older students had brought their own books to sell, and we ended up chatting with them about their favorite authors and stories. It was a small world, after all.
